Denmark's Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen heads to El Salvador for Miss Universe 2023


Miss Universe Denmark 2023 Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen is off to a 22-hour flight to El Salvador to compete in the upcoming 72nd Miss Universe pageant.

The Danish beauty shared photos of her departure moments at Kastrup Copenhagen Airport on Wednesday, November 1 before taking off.

"I am now officially departing for the Miss Universe competition in El Salvador. I can't wait to get there and meet all of the amazing people and the other delegates," she wrote on social media.

Her national director Lisa Lents and fellow queen sisters sent her best wishes in the comment section.

"Have the most spectacular journey. I can't believe you are going to Miss Universe today. It will change your life, please enjoy every second of it."

The Miss Universe 2023 final is set to be held in San Salvador on November 18. More than 80 countries from around the world will compete for the coveted title.

Miss Universe Mexico 2025 is Fatima Bosch of Tabasco

Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Miss Universe Argentina 2025 is Aldana Masset of Entre Rios

Aldana Masset was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2025 on Sunday, May 25 at Mansión Tango in Buenos Aires. The 25-year-old singer and image consultant from the province of Entre Rios beat 27 other contestants to win the national title. Julieta Ricardez of La Pampa was named first runner-up while Judit Grnja of Chaco, Ayelen Torres of La Rioja, Carolina Danieri of Comunidad Extranjera, and Xiomara Menna of Misiones were the second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up, respectively. Iceland's Helena O'Connor withdraws from Miss Universe 2025

The Miss Iceland Organization has announced today that Miss Universe Iceland 2025 Helena Hafþórsdóttir O'Connor has withdrawn from the 74th Miss Universe pageant. In an official statement released on social media, the organization said that the 21-year-old psychology student from Viðey has been ill for the past few days. The statement also stated: "She is thankfully recovering but we are devastated to announce that, due to personal reasons, she has made the difficult decision of withdrawing from the Miss Universe competition in Thailand." Helena was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland 2025) in Reykjavik last April. The 28-year-old model and influencer will now prepare to represent Chile at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Karla Bacigalupo was crowned Miss Peru 2025 (Miss Universe Peru 2025) in a national competition held last Sunday, June 15 in the historic city of Cusco. The 33-year-old actress and producer will now prepare to represent Peru at Miss Universe 2025 to be held in Thailand this November.
