Myanmar's Amara Bo is off to El Salvador for Miss Universe 2023


Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 Amara Bo departed Yangon International Airport on Wednesday, November 1 to compete in the Miss Universe 2023 pageant in El Salvador.

Wearing a stunning fuchsia pink outfit by Nwe Ni Win Maung, the beauty queen was joined by her supporters at the airport before her flight with Thai Airways.

According to the Miss Universe Myanmar organizers, due to some difficulties that resulted in the delay in obtaining her US transit visa, she will have a stopover in Vietnam before she continues her journey to the competition.

Amara will be the 13th Burmese representative in the Miss Universe pageant. She is currently one of the Top 10 contestants leading the fan vote.

Since its debut in the competition in 1959, her country's first and only placement so far is in the Top 21 with Thuzar Wint Lwin at Miss Universe 2020.

The 72nd Miss Universe will be held on November 18 in El Salvador's capital city of San Salvador.

Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. Marcél Roux from South Africa secured the first runner-up position, while Daniel Jiawei Li from China, Ramón Alcántara from the Dominican Republic, and Gabriel Castañeda from Mexico took the second, third, and fourth runner-up spots, respectively. The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Jaime VandenBerg was announced the winner of Miss Universe Canada 2025 on Saturday, August 9 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor, Ontario. The 28-year-old international model and actress from Lethbridge, Alberta will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. Vanessa Pulgarin from Colombia was proclaimed the winner MGI All Stars 2026 on Saturday, May 30 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. Meet the winners of Miss Turkey 2025

The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational.
