Miss Earth 2023: Top 5 winners for 'Best Appearance' announced


Following the Miss Earth 2023 blue carpet evening gown competition and "Xin Chao" welcome ceremony held last Sunday at the Opera House in Ho Chi Minh City, online voting was conducted on social media for "Best Appearance" from December 4 to December 8.

Based on the officially announced voting results, the Top 5 winners for the award were the contestants from Cambodia (Pouvjessica Tan), Mongolia (Munkhchimeg Batjargal), Myanmar (Soung Hnin San), Philippines (Yllana Aduana) and Vietnam (Do Thi Lan Anh).

They will each get the chance to double their voting points for one day, from 9:00 PM Dec 8 to 9:00 PM Dec 9 (GMT+7), for the Miss People's Choice on the Eventista voting portal.

The ultimate winner of the "Best Appearance" to be announced on December 12 will receive a special gift while the Miss People's Choice will be granted a direct entry to the semifinals.

Miss Earth 2023, the 23rd Miss Earth competition, will be held on December 22 at Van Phuc City.

The Miss Philippines 2026 titleholders officially crowned

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Miss Universe Peru 2026 is Luren Márquez

Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico. Born in Ica, the new Miss Universe Peru is a business administration graduate from the University of Lima. She also obtained her degree in communication from the Florida Internationl University in the USA. No stranger to pageantry, Luren placed first runner-up at the Miss Peru 2024 pageant. Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Top 6 national costumes announced

The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. This year's show, themed Water, was hosted by the reigning Miss Eco Philippines, Gabbi Carballo. The contestants took to the stage, displaying Filipino artistry through their colorful costumes. Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Miss Grand Thailand 2026 is Patthama Jitsawat of Chonburi

Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket.
