Miss Global 2023 is Ashley Melendez from Puerto Rico


Puerto Rico's Ashley Melendez was crowned Miss Global 2023 during the 10th Miss Global competition held on Thursday, January 18 at the Corona Resort & Casino Phu Quoc in Vietnam.

The 26-year-old model bested more than 60 other contestants to win the international title. She succeeds Miss Global 2022 winner Shane Tormes of the Philippines.

Haylani Kuruppu of Samoa was named first runner-up while Chonnikarn Supittayaporn of Thailand, Pearl Hung of the Philippines, and Doan Thu Thuy of Vietnam were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Janaya Reimers of Australia, Leak Monyanita of Cambodia, Francheska Pujols of the Dominican Republic, Cynthia Ong of Indonesia, Taanusiya Chetty of Malaysia, Zai Jama of Somalia, Simphiwe Zama Ntombela of South Africa, and Tasabeh Diab of Sudan were the rest of the Top 13 finalists.

The rest of the Top 20 semifinalists were from Brazil, Marcela Araki Yamaguti, Bulgaria, Valeriya Dokuzova, Colombia, Dahiana Aguilar, Lithuania, Zlata Kozlova, New Zealand, Jade Parsons, Nigeria, Chinelo Ibegbunam, Spain, Raquel Robles, USA, Danielle Alura, and Venezuela, Iriana Pinto.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Global previously held the title Miss Teen World Puerto Rico 2013. She also represented Fajardo at Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2023 where she clinched the title Miss Global Puerto Rico 2023.

Ashley made history as she became the first ever Puerto Rican woman to compete and win the annual Miss Global pageant.

Miss World Thailand 2025 is Opal Suchata Chuangsri

Opal Suchata Chuangsri was officially proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2025 in a special press presentation held on Tuesday, April 22 in Bangkok. The 22-year-old political science major at Thammasat University will represent Thailand at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad ( Telangana), India this May. No stranger to pageantry, Opal was previously crowned Miss Universe Thailand and went to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico where she finished as the third runner-up. Miss Universe Zambia 2025 is Kunda Mwamulima

Kunda Mwamulima was crowned Miss Universe Zambia 2025 on Saturday, April 20 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC) in Lusaka. The 29-year-old registered nurse and model will now prepare to represent Zambia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Kunda is a former Miss Earth Zambia titleholder who competed in Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam. She also joined the Top Model of the World competition in Egypt and made the Top 16. Mirna Alejandra Caballini Bouche has been revealed by the Señorita Panama organization as official representative of Panama for Miss Universe 2025. The 22-year-old professional model, singer, theater actress and fashion designer will head to Thailand to compete in the 74th Miss Universe pageant this November.
