Miss Philippines Earth 2024: Meet the winners of the beach wear competition


The Miss Philippines Earth 2024 Beach Wear Competition was held on Thursday, April 25 in Borongan City, the capital of the province of Eastern Samar.

Sam Samara of Makati City bagged the gold medal while the representatives of Iligan City, Kristel Codas, and Matanao, Davao Del Sur, Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche were awarded silver and bronze, respectively.

A total of 29 contestants from all over the country are currently competing for this year's coveted title. The national final will be held on May 11 in Talakag, Bukidnon.

Reigning Miss Philippines Earth, Yllana Marie Aduana of Siniloan, Laguna, will crown her successor who will represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2024 later this year.

Veena Praveenar Singh bested 76 other contestants to win Miss Universe Thailand 2025 in a spectacular show on Saturday, August 23 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 29-year-old beauty representing the province of Saraburi will now prepare to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Praewwanich Ruangthong of Krung Thep Maha Nakhon and Naruemol Phimphakdee of Phuket were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe China 2024 is Xue Hou from Beijing

Xue Hou was crowned Miss Universe China 2024 during the national competition on Sunday, July 28 in Sanya Bay, Sanya City, Hainan Province. The 22-year-old model from Beijing will represent China at Miss Universe 2025 (74th Miss Universe) whose date and venue have yet to be announced. "We are sure Xuhe will carry the Chinese flag with pride and she will bloom towards the universe to show her true self," the organizers posted on social media. 81-year-old model Choi Soon-hwa joins Miss Universe Korea 2024

Choi Soon-hwa recently created a buzz in the pageant community when she appeared as the oldest contestant vying for Miss Universe Korea 2024. The 81-year-old senior model who walked her first runway in her 70s made history as she competes alongside more than 30 others in the upcoming national competition. If she wins this year's Miss Universe Korea, she will be the oldest Korean representative and contestant in the 73-year history of the Miss Universe pageant. Tonight, 77 contestants representing various Thai provinces will compete for the coveted title of Miss Universe Thailand 2025. Queensland's Lexie Brant was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Australia 2025 on Friday, August 15 at Crown Perth in Burswood, Western Australia.
