Krystyna Pyszková arrives in Manila for Miss World Philippines 2024


Reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková touched down in the Philippines on Tuesday, July 16 for her first visit to the country since winning the 71st Miss World last March in Mumbai, India.

Accompanied by Miss World's Julia Morley, the beauty queen from the Czech Republic will be a special guest in the upcoming Miss World Philippines 2024 final show.

A press conference was held for the international guests the following day, Wednesday, July 17 at the Grand Westside Hotel in Parañaque City. The current Mr World Philippines Kirk Bondad also attended the event.

"I'm really happy to be a part of the coronation night in the Philippines this Friday. I can't wait to witness the beauty and grace of the contestants. It's going to be an unforgettable experience," said the reigning Miss World.

The grand coronation night of the Miss World Philippines 2024 pageant will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena this Friday, July 19. Gwendolyne Fourniol will crown her successor at the end of the event.

The Miss Philippines 2026 titleholders officially crowned

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Top 6 national costumes announced

The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. This year's show, themed Water, was hosted by the reigning Miss Eco Philippines, Gabbi Carballo. The contestants took to the stage, displaying Filipino artistry through their colorful costumes. Following the competition the costumes from Baguio City , Roxie Baeyens, Iloilo Province , Nicklyn Jutay, Negros Occidental , Alexandria Colmenares, Pampanga , Allyson Hetland, Pangasinan , Donna Nuguid, and Tacloban City , Jacqueline Gulrajani were announced the Top 6. Russia's Varvara Yakovenko wins Miss Intercontinental 2025

Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. Lorena Suárez Lara from Cuba was named first runner-up while Vanessa Natcha Wenk of Thailand and Faidha Kassim Kivuyo of Tanzania were the second and third runners-up, respectively. Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico. Miss Grand Thailand 2026 is Patthama Jitsawat of Chonburi

Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket.
