Krystyna Pyszková arrives in Manila for Miss World Philippines 2024


Reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková touched down in the Philippines on Tuesday, July 16 for her first visit to the country since winning the 71st Miss World last March in Mumbai, India.

Accompanied by Miss World's Julia Morley, the beauty queen from the Czech Republic will be a special guest in the upcoming Miss World Philippines 2024 final show.

A press conference was held for the international guests the following day, Wednesday, July 17 at the Grand Westside Hotel in Parañaque City. The current Mr World Philippines Kirk Bondad also attended the event.

"I'm really happy to be a part of the coronation night in the Philippines this Friday. I can't wait to witness the beauty and grace of the contestants. It's going to be an unforgettable experience," said the reigning Miss World.

The grand coronation night of the Miss World Philippines 2024 pageant will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena this Friday, July 19. Gwendolyne Fourniol will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Miss Universe Norway 2024 is Lilly Sødal from Kristiansand

Lilly Sødal was crowned Miss Norway 2024 (Miss Universe Norway 2024) during the national competition held last Saturday, August 10 at Rebel in Oslo. The 21-year-old sustainability advocate from Kristiansand received her crown from her predecessor, last year's winner Julie Tollefsen. She will now prepare to represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Milla Magee was crowned Miss England 2024 (Miss World England) on Friday, May 17 at The Grand Station in Wolverhampton. The 23-year-old qualified beach lifeguard from Newquay, Cornwall bested 39 other contestants to win the national title. She received the crown from her predecessor, the 71st Miss World Top 8 finalist who was awarded the titles Miss World Europe and Miss United Kingdom  Jessica Ashley Gagen . The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational.
