Miss Universe Cambodia 2024 is Davin Prasath


Davin Prasath was crowned Miss Universe Cambodia 2024 in a glittering national competition held on Thursday, August 29 in Phnom Penh.

The 33-year-old model, actress, and philanthropist succeeds last year's winner John Sotima, and will now prepare to represent Cambodia at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November.

No stranger to pageantry, she previously joined the Universal Woman 2024 pageant last March and finished as third runner-up.

The new Miss Universe Cambodia made history as the first-ever married woman and mother to win the national title. She is also the oldest contestant from Cambodia to compete in Miss Universe since the Miss Universe Organization abolished age limits.

Davin will join fellow mothers from Honduras (Stephanie Cam), Malta (Beatrice Njoya), Puerto Rico (Jennifer Colón Alvarado), and Venezuela (Ileana Marquez Pedroza) at the 73rd Miss Universe.

"As a newly crowned Miss Universe Cambodia, I am a testament to the fact that dreams are not just a sculpture of our imagination but achievable realities," she said.

"As a mother, I feel more empowered than ever. Motherhood is not a barrier or a burden but a badge of honor. When I become a mother it's not the end of my dreams but the beginning of new ones," she added.
 
"To every woman out there, whether you are a daughter, a sister, a wife, or a mother, please remember you are powerful, capable, and worthy. Your dreams are valid, your ambitions are important and your potential is limitless."

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. Mr World 2024: Puerto Rico's Daniel Mejía wins Sports Challenge

Puerto Rico's Daniel Mejía was declared the overall winner of the Mr World 2024 Sports Challenge following the combined results of swimming and running events. The swimming round was held on November 14, while the running round took place on Sunday in conjunction with the Strong Vietnam Marathon in Vung Tau City. Kirk Bondad of the Philipines came second while Bruno Barbieri of Italy, Manu Turner of England, and Vincent Gobuamang of Botswana were third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. Miss Venezuela World 2024 is Valeria Cannavo

Valeria Cannavo, the representative of Dependencias Federales, was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2024 on Saturday, November 23 in Caracas. The 24-year-old fashion designer succeeds Ariagny Daboin (Miss Venezuela World 2021) and will now prepare to represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2025 competition. Alessandra Guillen of Delta Amacuro was crowned Miss Venezuela International 2024 at the same event. She succeeds Guárico's Sakra Guerrero (Miss International 2024 third runner-up) and will be sent to the Miss International 2025 pageant in Japan. Miss Universe 2024: Philippines' Chelsea Manalo wins Best in National Costume

The Miss Universe Organization has officially announced Chelsea Manalo of the Philippines as the Best in National Costume winner at Miss Universe 2024. Completing the Top 3 finalists for the special award were Emilia Dides from Chile (second place) and Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen from Vietnam (third place). Chelsea's national costume "Hiraya" meaning "the fruit of one's hopes, dreams, and aspirations" was voted the ultimate winner among 125 costumes showcased on this year's Miss Universe stage. Created by Filipino fashion designer Manny Halasan, the winning costume was a homage to the Philippines' diverse history and culture. It depicted the complex yet rich relationship between the Philippines and Mexico. The stunning creation was also an artistic interpretation of the introduction of both Christianity and Islam to the Philippines. Miss Denmark 2024 is Emma Heyst from Sæby

Emma Heyst was crowned Miss Denmark 2024 in a glittering national competition on Sunday, September 1 at the Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen. The 21-year-old animal welfare advocate and salesperson from Sæby, Jutland succeeds last year's winner Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen. Sophie Wagner and Sofie Ørn Andersen were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Sofie Langballe Jensen and Simran Kholi rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss Denmark is expected to represent her country in a major international pageant in 2025. Emma is currently taking a sabbatical and working as a full-time salesperson in Ilva. In her spare time, she enjoys quality moments with her family and friends. Her interests include traveling, social media, planning and decorating events and holidays, experimenting with Pescetarian cooking, paddle boarding, winter swimming, and animal welfare. Miss Universe Denmark 2024 is Victoria Kjær Theilvig

Victoria Kjær Theilvig has been officially announced by the Miss Denmark Organization as Miss Universe Denmark 2024. The 20-year-old passionate dancer living in Copenhagen was part of the jury at the Miss Denmark 2024 final on Sunday at Cirkusbygningen. She will represent Denmark at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Her predecessor was last year's Miss Denmark (Miss Universe Denmark 2023), Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen, who competed in Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Universe Denmark was second runner-up at Miss Denmark 2021. She was then appointed as Miss Grand Denmark and went to Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia where she made the Top 20.
