FAVORITES: Final Top 7 favorites for Miss World 2021

After more than two years of waiting, a new queen will finally succeed the longest-reigning Miss World from Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh. Who will be crowned the 70th Miss World? The Top 40 semi-finalists will be vying for the coveted title during tonight's final competition that will stream live at 8 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. PST from the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Predicting who will win the pageant is quite a challenge but taking into account Miss World's criteria for judging, we came up with our list of favorites based on the contestants' performances during the pre-pageant events. 70th Miss World: Top 40 semi-finalists arrive back in Puerto Rico for the final competition

The 70th Miss World Top 40 semi-finalists have arrived back in San Juan, Puerto Rico for the final competition this Wednesday, March 16 at Coca-Cola Music Hall. After more than 2 years and the unfortunate cancellation of the event last December, Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica, the longest-reigning Miss World in history will finally crown her successor. The highly-anticipated event will feature a musical performance by the Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Miss World Musical Director Angel Velez, and a special tribute to the organization’s mission and legacy over the course of its tenured history will be made by Miss World 1975, Wilnelia Merced Forsyth TV personality Peter Andre and one of Latin America’s top actors and singers, Fernando Allende will serve as hosts. Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez has for the second time departed for Puerto Rico to represent her country at the 70th Miss World final. Wearing a custom white crop blazer and skirt with pearl embellishments by Filipino fashion designer Marc Soliven Ngan during her departure, the 28-year-old Industrial Engineer from Cebu is more than ready to conquer her country's second Miss World crown next week. In a post on social media, Tracy shared: Here we go, Philippines. For the second time around, I’m leaving for Puerto Rico, carrying with me our country’s hopes and dreams. Miss World Cote D'Ivoire 2021 Olivia Yacé has departed for Puerto Rico to join the rest of the Top 40 semi-finalists in the 70th Miss World final next week. The 24-year-old beauty who holds a degree in marketing and management proudly wore her country's colors in her departure outfit by Maison Elie Kuame. In a post on social media, she shared several photos taken at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport with the caption "After 3 months of waiting, I look forward to my return to Puerto Rico to continue the Miss World adventure." "I can't wait to be on this final date and see the most beautiful women in the world who have become sisters," she added. Olivia also assured her followers they will be informed of her activities at the competition and encouraged everyone to stay regular on her site and share her content on Miss World's official website. The Miss World Organization has announced the Digital Media Challenge where the Top 40 contestants were asked to promote their journey at the Miss World pageant through their individual websites at missworld.com . Web promotion should include their friendships and experiences at Miss World, their hopes after reaching the Top 40, messages of support or congratulations they have received from home, and the Beauty With A Purpose presentation including a full description of the progress made on their project, however, the contestants were also encouraged to come up with their own original ideas and designs to create the best website to share with the world. According to the organization, they're looking for the contestants' ability to tell their stories and engage with their fans. The judges will consider the originality, quality, and frequency of posts, the content, design, and style of the website, and the overall campaign to promote the new website through all media and social m
