Madame Tussauds Singapore launches former Miss Universe Catriona Gray's wax figure

After 3 years, Catriona Gray's wax figure was finally unveiled at Madame Tussauds wax museum at the Imbiah Lookout of Sentosa Island in Singapore on Wednesday, March 30.

During the launching of the first and so far the only Filipino wax figure to be featured in the Singapore museum, the former Miss Universe looked stunning in a metal assemblage dress by Jaggy Glarino.

"I'm so honored and flattered to be the only Filipino wax figure here in MT Singapore," Catriona shared on social media.

Filipino fashion designer Mak Tumang created a replica of the iconic Miss Universe lava gown for the figure with only small differences on the neckline to hide the seams where the head of the wax figure fit onto the body.

The iconic ensemble was completed with a replica of the Miss Universe sash with the name of the country that the Filipino-Australian beauty represented in 2018, the Philippines.

"We chose the "final walk" look from [Miss Universe] sans MU sash and crown, because the interactive concept is to "LavaWalk" with me," she said.

Catriona became the fourth Miss Universe titleholder of the Philippines during the 67th edition of the prestigious competition which was held in Bangkok, Thailand.
