71st Miss World is Krystyna Pyszková from Czech Republic

Czech Republic's Krystyna Pyszková was crowned the 71st Miss World in a glittering festival held on Saturday, March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. The 24-year-old model and student from Třince bested more than 100 other beauties to win the coveted title. She became the second Czech woman to become Miss World next to Taťána Kuchařová who won in 2006. Aside from modeling, Krystyna is currently pursuing her degrees in law and business administration. She is an advocate for education and is passionate about arts and music. The 71st Miss World was hosted by former Miss World from the Philippines, Megan Young, and Indian filmmaker Karan Johar. This year's spectacular event marked the return of the festival in India after 28 years. Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon was named first runner-up while the representatives from Botswana, Lesego Chombo, and Trinidad and Tobago, Aché Abrahams, rounded out the Top 4 finalists. Tonight, Poland's Karolina Bielawska will crown her successor in one of the greatest editions of the Miss World festival ever. The 71st Miss World will take place at India's largest convention center, the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. A total of 112 beauties with a purpose from all corners of the world will compete for the highly coveted title.  The event will be hosted by former Miss World from the Philippines, Megan Young, together with Indian filmmaker and TV personality Karan Johar. Produced by Endemol Shine India, tonight's much-awaited festival will also feature performances from Neha Kakkar, Shaan Mukherji, Tony Kakkar, and former Miss World from Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh. 71st Miss World: Tunisia's Imen Mehrzi wins Talent competition

The 71st Miss World Talent Competition final was held during the Beauty With a Purpose gala dinner on Sunday, March 3 at the Aurika, Mumbai Skycity. A total of 14 finalists from 112 contestants took part in the final round where Imen Mehrzi of Tunisia was chosen by the judges as the winner for her rendition of "Skyfall" by Adele. Kaitlyn Clarke of Northern Ireland and Audrey Vanessa of Indonesia placed second and third, respectively. The rest of the finalists were Botswana (Lesego Chombo), Estonia (Adriana Mass), Gibraltar (Faith Torres), Guatemala (Marcela Miranda), Hungary (Boglárka Hacsi), India (Sini Shetty), Ireland (Ivanna McMahon), Mongolia (Bolor Bat-Erdene), Netherlands (Amber Koelewijn), Portugal (Catarina Ferreira), and Wales (Darcey Corria). 71st Miss World: Martinique's Axelle René wins Top Model competition

The 71st Miss World Top Designer and Top Model competition was held last Saturday, March 2 at the Aurika, Mumbai Skycity in Mumbai. Strutting the runway in black dresses brought from their respective countries, the 112 contestants impressed the judges before the decision for the Top 5 from each continent was announced. Axelle René of Martinique won the Top Model competition with her remarkable catwalk performance followed by Nursena Say of Türkiye, Lesego Chombo of Botswana, and Sophia Hrivňáková of Slovakia who were declared the winners for Asia and Oceania, Africa, and Europe, respectively. The 71st Miss World Sport Challenge final was held on February 24 at the Mayor Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi. A total of 32 finalists among 112 contestants battled it out for the gold and for a spot among the Top 40 to be announced during the final show on Saturday, March 9 in Mumbai. They were divided into four team colors — Yellow Team (Africa), Blue Team (Europe), Red Team (Asia), and Green Team (America). The Sport Challenge culminated with Croatia's Lucija Begić emerging as winner while Chile's Ámbar Zenteno and Peru's Lucía Arellano were second and third, respectively. The 71st Miss World Head-to-Head Challenge was held on February 23 at The Summit Room, Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Five winners have been chosen by the judges based on the Head-to-Head speeches delivered by the contestants. The winners were Botswana (Lesego Chombo), England (Jessica Gagen), Lebanon (Yasmina Zaytoun), Nigeria (Ada Eme), and Zimbabwe (Nokutenda Marumbwa). Aleksandra Modic, a student from Wetzlar, was crowned Miss World Germany 2024 last Saturday, February 10 in Berlin. The 24-year-old will be representing Germany in the upcoming 71st Miss World Festival in India. She is honored to have the opportunity to participate in Miss World and hopes to make a positive impact on the world. "It is a privilege to represent my country and culture on the global stage. I look forward to meeting the other contestants and sharing our stories and visions for a better world," she said.  Aleksandra holds a bachelor's degree in arts and is currently pursuing her master's in international marketing. She is passionate about environmental protection and animal welfare. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her dog.
