Miss Universe Australia 2024: Meet the finalists from Western Australia

A total of six national finalists for the Miss Universe Australia 2024 competition have already been selected from the west coast. This year's Miss West Coast state final took place on Tuesday, April 2 at The Camfield in Burswood, Perth. Indira Streckfuss was named Miss West Coast 2024, succeeding Brooklyn Metropolis, last year's titleholder and second runner-up at Miss Universe Australia 2023. The rest of the women who secured a spot as national finalists were Sifundo Nhlebela, Ally Draper, Mikaela Giancaspro, Unice Wani, and Olivia Allen. They will be representing Australia's largest state, Western Australia, at the Miss Universe Australia 2024 final this August. The next national winner will be heading to compete in the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) competition in Mexico later this year. Kenza Ameloot crowned Miss Belgium 2024

Kenza Ameloot was crowned Miss Belgium 2024 in a national competition held last February 24 at the Proximus Theater (formerly Plopsa Theater) in De Panne. The 22-year-old international business student from Ghent bested over 30 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner, Miss Belgium 2023 Emilie Vansteenkiste. Estelle Toulemonde and Julie Mortier were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Arwen Van Gucht, Parnian Robatsarpooshi, and Marie Rousseaux rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Miss Universe Philippines 2024 final date, venue announced

The Miss Universe Philippines Organization has officially announced the final date and venue for this year's Miss Universe Philippines competition. In a post on social media, the organization revealed that the coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2024 will take place on May 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This year's event will mark the fifth edition of the national pageant headed by former titleholder Shamcey Supsup-Lee (Miss Universe Philippines 2011 and Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up). Tickets for the highly anticipated final show will be available to the general public starting April 8. More than 50 women from across the country are currently vying for the national title and the chance to represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico. Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios kicks off Asian tour

Reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios touched down in Bangkok, Thailand earlier this week to officially kick off her Asian tour. The Nicaraguan beauty, who bagged her country's first crown in El Salvador last November, reunited with her sister queen and Miss Universe 2023 first runner-up Anntonia Porsild. Aside from Thailand, Sheynnis is also expected to visit Laos, Cambodia, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and India. Sydney Taylor, the representative of Lafayette, was crowned Miss Louisiana USA 2024 in a glittering competition on Saturday, March 30 at Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie. The 22-year-old former Miss Teen Louisiana USA and Miss Teen USA 2020 fourth runner-up will head to California to compete for Miss USA 2024 this summer. Saudi Arabia to debut at Miss Universe with Rumy Alqahtani

After 72 years, Saudi Arabia is expected to debut at the prestigious Miss Universe pageant this year with newly proclaimed Miss Universe Saudi Arabia 2024 Rumy Alqahtani. Rumy, from Riyadh, is a 27-year-old model, beauty pageant veteran, and influencer with a million followers on Instagram. She announced her participation in Miss Universe on the social media platform earlier this week. The 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held in Mexico on a date that has yet to be announced. Czech Republic's Krystyna Pyszková comes home after 71st Miss World win

Following her victorious stint at the 71st Miss World in India, Krystyna Pyszková returned home on Sunday, March 24 to a warm homecoming in Czech Republic. Fresh from London, the beauty queen touched down in Prague where she was warmly received by her family, friends, and the media. Also present during her arrival at the airport were Miss Czech Republic national director Taťána Makarenko and her team. The next day, Monday, March 25, a homecoming press conference was held for the new Miss World at The Old Town Hall in her country's capital city. Apart from media tours, her busy schedule also included meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský, at the Czernin Palace, and the Minister of Justice, Pavel Blažek. María José Cetina Alfonso was crowned Miss Supranational Cuba 2024 in a glittering ceremony held on Sunday, March 24 at Cuz Miami in Doral, Florida. The 19-year-old medical student hailing from Camagüey, Cuba will now prepare to compete for Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland this July. Aside from the new Miss Supranational Cuba, Branden Alaen was also proclaimed as Mister Supranational Cuba 2024 during Sunday's event. The international model, recording artist, and growth and accountability coach will also travel to Poland for Mister Supranational 2024. Taiwan's Chien Yu Chen wins Mister Universe Tourism 2024

Taiwanese volleyball player, Chien Yu Chen, was proclaimed Mister Universe Tourism 2024 on Sunday, March 24 in Bali, Indonesia. The representative of the Philippines, Larz Kent Dawson was named first runner-up while ChitrakananSingh Thoudam from India finished as second runner-up. This year's competition was the 5th edition of Mister Universe Tourism, an annual male pageant dedicated to promoting responsible tourism through digital marketing in the new normal. Miss Gibraltar 2024 is Shania Ballester

Shania Ballester was crowned Miss Gibraltar 2024 (Miss World Gibraltar 2024) on Saturday, March 23 at the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre, Gibraltar. The 19-year-old will represent the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar at the 72nd Miss World which is expected to be held early next year. Aside from the coveted title, she also bagged the Best Interview, Miss Top Model, Miss People's Choice, and Miss Photogenic awards.  Phoebe Noble was named the first princess while Lauren Shephard was the second princess. They will compete in Miss Supranational 2024 and Miss Grand International 2024, respectively. A total of nine contestants participated in this year's competition. Anicia Gaothusi was crowned Miss Botswana 2024 (Miss World Botswana 2024) in a glittering ceremony held on Saturday, March 23 at the Royal Aria Conference Centre in Tlokweng, Gaborone. The 22-year-old student at the Gaborone University College of Law and Professional Studies (GUC) beat nine other finalists to win the national title. She is now expected to represent Botswana at the 72nd Miss World competition. Halle Chandapiwa Hirschfeld and Sebaga Lea Manyapetsa were named the first and second princesses, respectively.
