The glittering 70th Miss Universe preliminary competition and national costume show took place last night at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel. Eighty of the world's most beautiful and empowered women paraded in their swimsuits and evening gowns in front of an all-female panel of the selection committee. Olivia Yacé of Cote D'Ivoire has won the Miss World 2021 Top Model competition held on Monday, December 6 where each contestant had the opportunity to showcase their best catwalk while wearing both national dress and designs made by Puerto Rican designers. The 23-year-old beauty will automatically advance to the quarter-final of the 70th Miss World final on Thursday, December 16 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Miss Grand Vietnam, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, bested over 50 other contestants to be crowned Miss Grand International 2021 on Saturday, December 4 at the SHOW DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 23-year-old hospitality management student succeeds Abena of the United States of America. She's the first-ever Vietnamese woman to win the Miss Grand International beauty title.
