Jacky Phimmachak was named Mister Global Laos 2022 in a national competition held on Saturday, November 19 at Indee Studio in Vientiane. The 22-year-old medical student from Savannakhét beat 11 other finalists to win the title. He succeeded last year's winner Pay Souliyamath and will now represent his country at the 8th Mister Global competition in Chiang Mai, Thailand this February. Laiy Tattanakone and  Khek Sevendays were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Diana Tashimbetova was announced as Miss Universe Qazaqstan 2022 (Miss Universe Kazahstan), one of the three title winners of the Miss Qazaqstan 2022 final on Friday, November 18 at the Palace of the Republic in Almaty. The Miss Qazaqstan 2022 (Miss Kazakhstan) final show will be held this Friday, November 18 at the Palace of the Republic in Almaty. A total of 23 contestants from across the country are vying for the national title and the winners are expected to represent Kazakhstan at the prestigious international pageants — Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth.
