The Miss Globe 2022: Philippines' Chelsea Fernandez wins Head to Head Challenge


The Miss Globe Philippines Chelsea Fernandez was announced on Monday, October 10 as the winner of The Miss Globe 2022 Head to Head Challenge.

Anamaria Babau of the United Arab Emirates placed second while Cleopatra Jones of the USA, Sofia Donado of Colombia, and Prisca Abah of Ghana were third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Drita Ziri of Albania, Serenity Davis of Canada, Nella Cheves Serano of Costa Rica, Sirel Saad of Estonia, and Thanawan Wigg of Thailand.

The representatives from Germany, Japan, Latvia, Malaysia, Montenegro, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Poland, Taiwan, and Ukraine were the rest of the Top 20 finalists for the challenge.

Ten women have been selected for the opportunity to compete for the national title currently held by last year's winner Melissa Ingraham . From 60 beauties who participated during the casting day, only 16 will now move on as finalists for Miss Universe Netherlands 2024. The selection event and official announcement of the Top 16 finalists took place on Saturday, April 13 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. Previously held by Monica van Ee of the Miss Nederland organization, the license for Miss Universe Netherlands has been taken over this year by Milou Verhoeks of the Miss Beauty of the Netherlands. Elizabeth Laker was crowned Miss RNB España 2024 (Miss Supranational Spain 2024) on Saturday, April 13 at Teatre Auditori de Salou (TAS). The 25-year-old personal trainer and makeup artist from Arona, Tenerife succeeds last year's winner Lola Wilson. Martina Suárez of Valencia and Ainara Martínez of La Rioja were the first and second runners-up, respectively.
