Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2023 is Victoria Arocho of Caguas


Miss Earth Caguas Victoria Arocho was crowned Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2023 on Sunday, January 29 at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas.

The 20-year-old model representing Caguas bested 21 other competitors to win the national title. She succeeds Paulina Avilés — Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022 and Miss Earth 2022 Top 8 finalist.

Rounding out the Top 4 were Miss Earth Rincón Nashaly Muñiz, Miss Earth Fajardo Ashley Melendez, and Miss Earth Cayey Jaimar Cruz. They were named Miss Earth Air, Water, and Fire, respectively.

Miss Earth Camuy Lizmarie Rodríguez and Miss Earth Guaynabo Monika Zayas completed the Top 6 finalists.

The representatives of Bayamón, María Amador; Isabela, Andrea Arteaga; Loíza, Alondra Martínez; Manatí, Monique Alarcón; Ponce, Cynthia Goenaga; and Villalba, Jovanska Santiago were the rest of the Top 12 semifinalists.

Puerto Rico has won the Miss Earth pageant once with Nellys Pimentel in 2019.

The new Miss Earth Puerto Rico will now prepare to represent Puerto Rico at Miss Earth 2023 which is expected to be held in Vietnam later this year.

Miss Universe 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. This year's much-talked-about edition marked Thailand's fourth time hosting the prestigious beauty pageant after 1992, 2005, and 2018. Following the withdrawal of several countries including Cameroon, Germany, Iceland, Kenya, Mongolia, and Montenegro, 122 contestants from various countries and territories are left competing for the coveted international beauty title. Polish-American Emily Reng to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2025

Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Emily is a graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is currently a student at the University of South Carolina. The new Miss Universe Poland is no stranger to pageantry. Miss Universe Portugal 2025 is Camila Vitorino

Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Aldana Masset was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2025 on Sunday, May 25 at Mansión Tango in Buenos Aires. The 25-year-old singer and image consultant from the province of Entre Rios beat 27 other contestants to win the national title. Michaela Tomanová was crowned Miss Universe Czech Republic 2025 (Miss Universe Czechia) on Wednesday, June 25 at Chateau de Frontiere in Hlohovec. Iceland's Helena O'Connor withdraws from Miss Universe 2025

The Miss Iceland Organization has announced today that Miss Universe Iceland 2025 Helena Hafþórsdóttir O'Connor has withdrawn from the 74th Miss Universe pageant. In an official statement released on social media, the organization said that the 21-year-old psychology student from Viðey has been ill for the past few days. The statement also stated: "She is thankfully recovering but we are devastated to announce that, due to personal reasons, she has made the difficult decision of withdrawing from the Miss Universe competition in Thailand." Helena was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland 2025) in Reykjavik last April. Danielle Latimer beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 on Saturday, July 26 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales.
