Miss Philippines Earth 2023: Meet the darlings of the press


The Miss Philippines Earth 2023 official press presentation was held on Monday, April 3 at the Lime Beach Club Manila in Lime Resort Manila.

A total of 30 contestants vying for this year's Miss Philippines Earth title strutted in their official sashes and swimsuits as they were presented to the members of the media at the poolside area of the resort.

Sponsored by HANA Shampoo, the pre-pageant event culminated with the announcement of the Top 3 winners for the Darling of the Press and the Top 10 HANA Beauties.

Miss Siniloan, Laguna (Yllana Marie Aduana), Miss Fil-Com California, USA (Nicolle Lagera), and Miss Balayan, Batangas (Meri Lasil Relevo) were respectively announced as the gold, silver, and bronze medalists for the Darling of the Press.

The Top 10 HANA Beauties consisted of Patricia Nicole Yap (Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur), Chrystel Mae (Carrascal, Surigao del Sur), Ma. Cristina Tallador (Iloilo City), Kerri Reilly (Mangatarem, Pangasinan), Sha'uri Livori (Melbourne, Australia), Jemimah Joy Zabala (Puerto Princesa City), Ylana Marie Aduana (Siniloan, Laguna), Athena Auxillo (Toledo, Cebu), Jamie Angelique Armada (Tuburan, Cebu), and Fermizuli Silal (Zamboanga City).

The Miss Philippines Earth 2023 coronation will be held in Toledo City, Cebu on April 29. At the end of he event, Jenny Ramp of Santa Ignacia, Tarlac will crown her successor who will represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Finland to host the inaugural Miss Face International pageant

Finland, the happiest country in the world, is getting in on the international pageant scene and will host a global beauty contest for the first time ever. The "land of a thousand lakes" is set to stage the inaugural Miss Face International pageant in the summer of 2026. According to the organizer, Miss Face International will not only highlight the cultures of various countries but will also act as a networking platform for women worldwide. The pageant's slogan is "Connecting Beauty" and it aims to help women progress in their careers, develop their personal brand, and boost self-awareness on a global level. Miss Universe Japan 2025 is Kaori Hashimoto from Tochigi Prefecture

Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Saki Fujita and Reina Ishii were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chiemi Takayama and Naomi Monique Kamidate were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Kaya Chakrabortty, last year's winner who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2024 held in Mexico, crowned her successor at the end of the event. Miss Universe Aruba 2024 is Anouk Eman

Anouk Eman bested five other competitors to win Miss Universe Aruba 2024 on Saturday, August 10 at the Aruba Marriott Grand Ballroom. The 32-year-old fashion model and scoliosis awareness advocate will represent Aruba at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. She succeeds last year's winner Karol Croes. Giulia Brezovar was named first runner-up. The other contestants were Naomi Croes, Irviljen Hato, Marie Sonise Elliassaint, and Sasha Williams. The new Miss Universe Aruba holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in early intervention in autism. Veena Praveenar Singh crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2025

Veena Praveenar Singh bested 76 other contestants to win Miss Universe Thailand 2025 in a spectacular show on Saturday, August 23 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 29-year-old beauty representing the province of Saraburi will now prepare to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Praewwanich Ruangthong of Krung Thep Maha Nakhon and Naruemol Phimphakdee of Phuket were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique beat 29 other contestants to win Miss France 2025 on Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. Sabah Aïb of Nord-Pas-de-Calais was named first runner-up while Stella Vangioni of Corsica, Moïra André of Guadeloupe, and Lilou Emeline-Artuso of Côte d'Azur were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
