Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2023 is Noa Claus from Overijssel


Noa Claus was crowned Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2023 (Miss Earth Netherlands 2023) in a glittering show held on Saturday, July 1 at Studio 21 in Hilversum.

The 20-year-old restaurant employee from Enschede, Overijssel bested 11 other contestants to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year.

Sasha Verhoef of Zuid-Holland was named first runner-up while Yentl Felter of Utrecht, Caitlin de Jong of Friesland, and Sara Balic of Limburg were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The title Miss Teen of the Netherlands 2023 went to 18-year-old Mevy Lumamuly, also from Overijssel. She is now expected to compete in Miss Teen International 2024.

Her runners-up were Janey Descendre of Gelderland (first), Anouck van Heerden of Noord-Brabant (second), Sophia Lettinga of Friesland (third), and Noa Passon of Utrecht (fourth).

For the first time in its history, both winners of the pageant came from the same province.

Dutch actor Juvat Westendorp hosted the competition with former titleholder Nikki Prein and reigning Miss Grand Netherlands Marit Beets while the President of Miss Beauty of the Netherlands Tessa Le Conge led the announcement of winners.

Last year's titleholders, Merel Hendriksen (Miss Earth 2022 Top 8 finalist) and Floortje Timmer (Miss Teen International 2023 Top 8 finalist) crowned their respective successors at the culmination of the event.

Miss Universe 2024: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. Daumier Corilla of the Philippines was proclaimed Mister Global 2024 on Sunday, October 6 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old model, actor, and host bested over 30 other contestants to become the first-ever Filipino winner of the international male pageant. Shereen Ahmed was recently crowned Miss Universe Bahrain 2024 and will compete in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. The 29-year-old Bahraini-Filipino beauty succeeds last year's winner Lujane Yacoub. She is the fourth woman to represent Bahrain at Miss Universe. After a 23-year hiatus, Hong Kong is set to return to the Miss Universe stage this year with Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 Joanne Rhodes. The 24-year-old art advisor and model edged out 15 other finalists to win the competition on September 26 at the Go Park Sai Sha. The Miss International organization has officially announced the names of the contestants who are vying for Miss International 2024. A total of 75 beauties from different countries and territories are expected to compete for the coveted international beauty title. The contestants will start arriving in Japan on October 29 and will be immersed in various social, cultural, and educational activities. Reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio from Venezuela will crown her successor on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall.
