Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2023 is Faith Gillezeau


Faith Gillezeau, representing San Fernando West was crowned Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2023 in a glittering event held on Sunday, July 2 at Queen's Hall in Port of Spain.

The 25-year-old pharmacist and athlete will now prepare to represent her country at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador this December.

She succeeds last year's winner who placed in the Top 16 at Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans last January, Tya Jané Ramey.

Miss San Fernando, Jen-ai Mohammed, and Miss Sangre Grande, Dalise Lockhart, were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The representative of Diego Martin, Latifah Morris, 29, was awarded the title Top Model of the World Trinidad and Tobago 2024 and will compete in the next Top Model of the World competition in Egypt.

In addition to the national crown, the new Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago also bagged the Miss Photogenic and Best in Swimsuit awards.
