Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2023 is Faith Gillezeau


Faith Gillezeau, representing San Fernando West was crowned Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2023 in a glittering event held on Sunday, July 2 at Queen's Hall in Port of Spain.

The 25-year-old pharmacist and athlete will now prepare to represent her country at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador this December.

She succeeds last year's winner who placed in the Top 16 at Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans last January, Tya Jané Ramey.

Miss San Fernando, Jen-ai Mohammed, and Miss Sangre Grande, Dalise Lockhart, were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The representative of Diego Martin, Latifah Morris, 29, was awarded the title Top Model of the World Trinidad and Tobago 2024 and will compete in the next Top Model of the World competition in Egypt.

In addition to the national crown, the new Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago also bagged the Miss Photogenic and Best in Swimsuit awards.

Miss Universe Australia 2026 is Caity Worthington from Brisbane

Caitlin Worthington was declared the winner of Miss Universe Australia 2026 at the national final on Wednesday, August 26, held at the Crown Melbourne. The 28-year-old radiographer and model from Brisbane succeeds her predecessor Lexie Brant. She will represent Australia at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Georgia Van Zaanen was awarded first runner-up, while Rowan Brent-White, Uma Dawson, and Kristabella Leembruggen took the second, third, and fourth runner-up positions, respectively. Joheirry Mola Dominguez from the Dominican Republic bested 110 other contestants to win Miss World 2026 on Saturday, September in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The 24-year-old model, teacher, news correspondent and advocate received the coveted crown and sash from her predecessor Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand. Elisabeth Reynés of Spain and Taanusiya Chetty of Malaysia were announced the second and third placers, respectively. The 28-year-old model and businesswoman from Guadalajara will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico this November. Miss World 2026: Meet the continental winners of the Head-to-Head Challenge

The Head-to-Head Challenge for Miss World 2026 took place on August 22 and 24 at the Khanh Hoa Children's Palace in Nha Trang, Vietnam. During the event, all contestants presented themselves and shared speeches about their initiatives. From each continental group, five contestants were selected to move on to the second round, where four continental winners were determined. The continental winners were Romanda Hombir from South Africa, Georgia-Lee Gill from Trinidad and Tobago, Asia Rose Simpson from the Philippines, and Julia Kühnle from Germany. By winning their respective continental groups, they have already earned their spots in the Top 40. Based on their answers during the final round, one of them will be declared the overall challenge winner and will automatically progress to the Top 20.
