Miss Universe Indonesia 2023: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe Indonesia 2023, the first edition of the standalone Miss Universe Indonesia pageant under Poppy Capella will be held in Jakarta this August.

A total of 30 beauties representing different provinces of Indonesia have been selected from across the country to compete for the coveted national title.

The winner of the much-awaited competition will represent the largest archipelago in the world at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador.

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. The country known for its rich culture, ancient ruins, dazzling beaches, and incredible cuisine has been chosen to host the competition for the fifth time after 1978, 1989, 1993, and 2007. Shereen Ahmed was recently crowned Miss Universe Bahrain 2024 and will compete in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. After a 23-year hiatus, Hong Kong is set to return to the Miss Universe stage this year with Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 Joanne Rhodes. The 24-year-old art advisor and model edged out 15 other finalists to win the competition on September 26 at the Go Park Sai Sha. The 20-year-old model and student from New York City beat over 30 other contestants to become the first representative from the United States of America to win the international title. The Miss International organization has officially announced the names of the contestants who are vying for Miss International 2024. A total of 75 beauties from different countries and territories are expected to compete for the coveted international beauty title. The contestants will start arriving in Japan on October 29 and will be immersed in various social, cultural, and educational activities. Reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio from Venezuela will crown her successor on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall.
