Miss Grand Spain 2024 is Susana Medina of Las Palmas


Susana Medina was crowned Miss Grand Spain 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, May 11 at Theatre Municipal Horacio Noguera, Isla Cristina, Huelva.

The 25-year-old representative of Las Palmas bested 34 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Celia Sevilla and will now represent Spain at Miss Grand International 2024.

Idayra Tena of Tenerife was named first runner-up while Adriana Corpas of Tarragona, Luana Gheban of Albacete, and Esther Escudero of Euskadi were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The Top 10 were Mar铆a Llamas of Andalusia, Rocio Mengual of C贸rdoba, Gema Adrover of Mediterranean, Mayka Rodr铆guez of Seville, and Ainhoa Gallego of Toledo.

Rounding out the Top 15 were Julia Guerrero of Atl谩ntico, Alina Farcas of Castell贸n, Yaneisy Ceballos of Costa Canaria, Valentina Pereira of La Rioja, and Daniela Quintero of Murcia.

This year's competition marked the 8th edition of the annual Miss Grand Spain pageant. A total of 35 contestants competed for the national title.

Reigning Miss Grand International from Peru, Luciana Fuster graced the event with MGI President from Thailand, Nawat Itsaragrisil.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Grand Spain previously participated in Miss Universe Spain 2022 where she represented Canarias and earned a third runner-up placement.

The 12th Miss Grand International pageant will be held on October 25 in Yangon, Myanmar.

Miss Universe 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kj忙r Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. This year's much-talked-about edition marked Thailand's fourth time hosting the prestigious beauty pageant after 1992, 2005, and 2018. Following the withdrawal of several countries including Cameroon, Germany, Iceland, Kenya, Mongolia, and Montenegro, 122 contestants from various countries and territories are left competing for the coveted international beauty title. Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzo谩tegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Kar铆n Aridi of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Vanessa P茅rez of Distrito Capital, Saril茅 Gonz谩lez of Miranda, and Vanessa Peroza of Nueva Esparta were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Peru 2025 is Karla Bacigalupo

Karla Bacigalupo was crowned Miss Peru 2025 (Miss Universe Peru 2025) in a national competition held last Sunday, June 15 in the historic city of Cusco. The 33-year-old actress and producer will now prepare to represent Peru at Miss Universe 2025 to be held in Thailand this November. Former Reina Hispanoamerican Maricielo Gamarra was announced as first runner-up while former Top Model of the World Janet Leyva finished as the second runner-up. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from S茫o Sebasti茫o, Set煤bal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Miss Turkey 2024: Idil Bilgen wins Miss Turkey World 2024

Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent T眉rkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Cemre 脺ker clinched the Miss Turkey Supranational 2024 crown and will head to Poland to compete in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer. Miss Universe Chile 2025 is Inna Moll from Vitacura

Inna Moll, representing Vitacura, was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2025 in a national competitipn held on Friday, August 1 in Santiago. The 28-year-old model and influencer will now prepare to represent Chile at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Martina Kriskovich of Huechuraba was named first runner-up while Mar铆a Jes煤s Honorato of Las Condes, Scarlett Hermosilla of Lo Barnechea, and Paula Jim茅nez of Providencia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Elena Hidalgo was crowned Miss Universe Costa Rica 2024 on Tuesday, September 10 at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones ANDE (CIC ANDE) in San Antonio. The 32-year-old professional model from San Jos茅 beat 12 other contestants to win the national title. She made history as the first mother to become Miss Universe Costa Rica. Giulia Zanoni, representing La Uni贸n, was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2025 on Friday, September 26 at Palacio Tecle帽o in Santa Tecla.
