Philippines' Christine Juliane Opiaza officially crowned the new Miss Grand International

Christine Juliane Opiaza of the Philippines was officially crowned Miss Grand International 2024 in a special ceremony on Tuesday, June 3 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 26-year-old pasarela coach from Castillejos, Zambales took over the title from former winner Rachel Gupta of India whose reign prematurely concluded due to issues with her and the MGI organization.

Prior to receiving the honor of becoming her country's first-ever Miss Grand International titleholder, CJ was proclaimed first runner-up during last year's pageant.

Wearing a beautiful gown by Filipino designer Mak Tumang, the Filipina beauty received her crown and sash from MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil.

The flowers were handed out to her by MGI Vice President Teresa Chaivisut.
