Poland's Karolina Bielawska crowned the 70th Miss World
Poland's Karolina Bielawska has been crowned the 70th Miss World (Miss World 2022) at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Wednesday, March 16. The 23-year-old model and master's degree student in management from the central Polish city of Lodz succeeds the longest-reigning Miss World from Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh. "I still cannot believe it. I'm often very talkative but right now I'm definitely speechless. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and I cannot wait for this amazing adventure," she said shortly after winning her title. Shree Saini of the United States clinched the first runner-up title while Olivia Yace of Cote d'Ivoire was named the second runner-up. Indonesia's Carla Yules, Mexico's Karolina Vidales, and Northern Ireland's Anna Leitch were the Top 6 finalists.
