Miss Universe branches into e-commerce and merchandising, launches swimwear line with top designer Rubin Singer The Miss Universe Organization has just announced "Miss Universe by Rubin Singer" as their first-ever collaboration with another brand to create a merchandise line, as well as their first line of e-commerce merchandise. As the official swimwear of the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in San Salvador this month, the contestants will wear its first limited collection "Off the Runway" for the upcoming preliminary and final show's swimsuit competition. The collection includes plus-size and modest offerings, in addition to dozens of high-fashion looks from the renowned womenswear designer. It will be available for pre-order on November 15 and shipping start in late December 2023 to January 2024. The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) officially announced on Monday, November 7 the all-female hosts for the upcoming 72nd Miss Universe competition. Model, actress, and former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and Emmy Award-winning TV host, producer, and advocate Jeannie Mai will return as hosts. They will be joined by television host, presenter, actress, New York Times-bestselling author, entrepreneur, Emmy Award-winning journalist, and former Miss Teen Massachusetts, Maria Menounos. Also returning as backstage correspondence are Filipina model, singer, television personality, and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, and Emmy Award-winning TV host, actress, and producer Zuri Hall. The fourth day of the 72nd Miss Universe pageant was filled with exciting activities for the contestants from tasting local food to experiencing the beauty El Salvador has to offer. A group of contestants went to Parque Cuscatlán to learn more about the vibrant culture and traditions through the Festival de Tradiciones (Traditions Festival) prepared by First Lady Gabriela de Bukele. Another group was taken on a helicopter ride to Playa Maculis before boarding a yacht to the Golfo de Fonseca (Gulf of Fonseca) where they basked in the sun and enjoyed the breathtaking landscapes. "I had an absolute blast exploring the pristine waters of El Salvador today. Following their arrival, pre-pageant activities kicked off with the registration and fittings at their official residence hotel, the Real Intercontinental San Salvador. Aside from receiving their official sashes from The Sash Company, the contestants also had the chance to choose and be fitted for their official swimsuits and opening dresses courtesy of Clarisse Designs, a leading name in the world of women's formal wear. Jojo Bragais, a Filipino designer who is known for his pageant shoes, is back as this year's sponsor for the contestants' official footwear. Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 Amara Bo departed Yangon International Airport on Wednesday, November 1 to compete in the Miss Universe 2023 pageant in El Salvador. Wearing a stunning fuchsia pink outfit by Nwe Ni Win Maung, the beauty queen was joined by her supporters at the airport before her flight with Thai Airways. According to the Miss Universe Myanmar organizers, due to some difficulties that resulted in the delay in obtaining her US transit visa, she will have a stopover in Vietnam before she continues her journey to the competition. Amara will be the 13th Burmese representative in the Miss Universe pageant. She is currently one of the Top 10 contestants leading the fan vote. Since its debut in the competition in 1959, her country's first and only placement so far is in the Top 21 with Thuzar Wint Lwin at Miss Universe 2020.
