Miss Earth Vietnam has a new franchise holder, Miss Earth 2023 might be held in Vietnam

The new president of Nova Entertainment, Truong Ngoc Anh, has announced ownership of the Miss Earth Vietnam franchise in a press conference held last Thursday, February 17. A national pageant will take place this March to honor the beauty, intelligence, and special talents of young women from 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. The winner will represent the country at the next Miss Earth edition. There's also a possibility for Miss Earth 2023 to be held in Vietnam as the new national franchisee also announced interest in the rights to host the international competition. The country has already hosted the 10th-anniversary edition in Nha Trang in 2010. Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen to represent Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2022

Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen has been officially announced to represent Vietnam at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant in Poland. The 26-year-old business administration graduate from Can Tho was named Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 in May last year and recently joined the 70th Miss Universe competition in Israel where she placed in the Top 16. "I’m so proud to wear Miss Supranational Vietnam 2022 sash on my shoulder. Thank you for all your love and support," she shared on her official social media account. The newly appointed Miss Supranational Vietnam has proudly co-founded the Spreading the Love foundation which aims to assist disadvantaged students to continue pursuing education dreams. She also holds various roles in the community activities in healthcare, including HIV/AIDS program and environment. Domitila Barros bested nine other finalists to win Miss Germany 2022 competition at Europa-Park Arena in Rust, Baden on Saturday, February 19. The 37-year-old Berlin resident holds a master's degree in politics and social sciences. She is an entrepreneur, green influencer, activist, and actress who hails from northern Brazil. Miss Germany no longer considers itself as a beauty pageant. It has redefined itself two years ago to anchor female empowerment in the mainstream, provide an inclusive platform where individuality and diversity are paramount, and establish a movement for a better tomorrow. This year's final competition, themed "The Female Celebration" was participated by a diverse set of contestants including its first-ever transgender finalist. Miss Tunisie 2021 is Nesrine Haffar

Miss Cap Bon, Nesrine Haffar, was crowned Miss Tunisie 2021 in a national competition held on Saturday, February 19 at Bel Azur Hotel in Hammamet. The 23-year-old medical student hails from the city of Béni Khiar in Cap Bon (Nabeul). She bested 14 other finalists to win her national title. Miss World Tunisia (Rahma Sellimi), Miss International Tunisia (Mona Ammar), Miss Earth Tunisia (Imen Mehrzi), and Miss Eco International Tunisia (Chourouk Marzouki) were also crowned during the event. The new Miss Tunisia succeeds Amani Layouni, who competed during the 70th Miss World pageant in Puerto Rico last December. The 22-year-old beauty from India donned an orange satin mini dress from the Fall 2021 collection of a New York-based Indian fashion and costume designer Bibhu Mohapatra. Harnaaz also paired the dress with an Alexandra coat in chocolat from Maison Atia AW22 collection. Former Miss World Philippines titleholder, Michelle Dee, has confirmed her participation in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2022 pageant. In an Instagram post on Tuesday, November 15 she shared her photos by Dennis Sulit with the caption "It’s now or never. Miss South Africa Organization has officially announced that Lalela Mswane will be sent to the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant. The 24-year-old beauty was crowned Miss South Africa last October in Cape Town. She went on to participate in the 70th Miss Universe pageant last December in Israel and placed second runner-up among 80 contestants. Following a "frivolous and malicious lawsuit" filed against her and her Reignite Puerto Rico foundation, Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle Diaz took to social media to release an official statement. Last year, the Puerto Rican beauty was appointed by Miss World CEO Julia Morley to lead the negotiations for the hosting of the 70th Miss World pageant in Puerto Rico, whose aim was to generate exposure to the island, attract events of economic impact and help major social causes. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 concerns, the final show was canceled last December and rescheduled to be held this March with only the Top 40 semi-finalists are expected to return to compete for the coveted title. Miss Philippines Earth has officially announced its nationwide search for the next wave of Filipinas who will serve as ambassadors to environmental protection campaigns in the Philippines. For its 22nd edition, the pageant takes on the theme “ME Loves Fauna” to emphasize the importance of caring for animal life and promote awareness of how they are essential members of the environment. After two virtual editions, the organization now plans to hold a live coronation event with a limited number of contestants, production staff, and audience, around July. Last year's winner, Naelah Alshorbaji, will relinquish her reign at the end of the event. Thai-American beauty, Manita Farmer, wins Miss Thailand 2022 pageant

Manita Duangkham Farmer was crowned Miss Thailand 2022 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, February 6 at Central World in Bangkok. The 25-year-old Thai-American beauty who was born and raised in Phuket bested 24 other finalists to win her national title. She succeeds Natthapat Pongpraphan. Anphat Pitiprajakwat of Nakhon Pathom was named first runner-up while Wanida Rose of Bangkok, Athicha Rennie of Kanchanaburi, and Sornson Wittayaruengsuk of Bangkok, were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
