Miss Eco International 2022 is Kathleen Paton of the Philippines

Kathleen Paton of the Philippines was crowned Miss Eco International 2022 on Thursday, March 17 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo, Egypt. The 24-year-old Australian-Filipino model who hails from Aklan bested 40 other beauties to win the Egypt-based international pageant. She succeeds South Africa's Gizzelle Uys. Belgium's Chloë Reweghs was named first runner-up while the United States' Jesaura “Jessy" Peralta placed second runner-up. Lucia Morales of Spain and Prasana Shri of Malaysia were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Eco International became the second woman from her country to bag the title. Poland's Karolina Bielawska crowned the 70th Miss World

Poland's Karolina Bielawska has been crowned the 70th Miss World (Miss World 2022) at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Wednesday, March 16. The 23-year-old model and master's degree student in management from the central Polish city of Lodz succeeds the longest-reigning Miss World from Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh. "I still cannot believe it. I'm often very talkative but right now I'm definitely speechless. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and I cannot wait for this amazing adventure," she said shortly after winning her title. Shree Saini of the United States clinched the first runner-up title while Olivia Yace of Cote d'Ivoire was named the second runner-up. Spain's representative Miguel Ángel Lucas was named Mister Global 2021 at Taksila Hotel in Mahasarakham, Thailand on Tuesday, March 15. The 21-year-old model who hails from Toledo bested over 30 other contestants from around the world to win his title. He succeeds Mister Global 2019, Jung Woo Kim of Korea. Danh Chieu Linh of Vietnam finished first runner-up while Dongwoo Shin of South Korea was the second runner-up. Venezuela's Juan Carlos da Silva and Mexico's Gabriel Ortiz were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The contestants from Brazil, Cuba, Hong Hong, Thailand, and the United States placed in the Top 10, while Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nigeria, and Peru completed the Top 17. Cebu City's Fuschia Anne Ravena bested 25 other contestants to be crowned Miss International Queen Philippines 2022 in a national competition held on Sunday, March 6 at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The 26-year-old Cebuana beauty who hails from Bogo City will now prepare to represent the Philippines at Miss International Queen 2022 in Pattaya, Thailand. Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz of Manila and Shane Lee Ahn of Inayawan, Cebu City, were the first and second runners-up, respectively. This year's event was the inaugural edition of Miss International Queen Philippines. It is a subsidiary of the Thailand-based international pageant, the largest beauty contest for transgender women. Mister Global 2021 kicks off in Thailand, final is on March 15

Mister Global pageant has kicked off its 7th edition in Mahasarakham, a province in the northeast of Thailand. Over 30 inspiring gentlemen from around the world will compete for the coveted title which is currently held by Korea's Jung Woo Kim who won in 2019. The contestants will be judged in three important categories; swimwear, evening wear, and interview. One of the early favorites, Mike van Wijk will not be able to compete as he was tested positive for COVID-19 prior to his departure for Thailand. In a statement on social media, his organization announced: "We are sorry to inform that the PCR results of Mister Global Netherlands Mike van Wijk are positive. For the safety of others, he is not allowed to travel today to Thailand. He will not be participating in the 7th Mister Global." Russia banned from participating in the Miss Supranational pageant

Gerhard Partzutka Von Lipinski, president of the Miss Supranational pageant, has released an official statement that Russia has been banned from participating in the Poland-based international pageant. The Miss Supranational Organization made the decision to join the countries, sports federations, and cultural events around the world that imposed sanctions on Russia due to its ongoing invasion of Ukraine. "We will not accept a contestant from Russia as we cannot condone the actions of the Kremlin," the organization said in a statement posted on social media. Ukraine has been a very special part of the Supra family since Oksana Moria won its inaugural competition in 2009 in Płock, Poland. The game is officially on for Miss Universe Philippines 2022 as the Top 50 official delegates have been announced today on the pageant's official social media page. From 50, only 30 will move on to the final competition on April 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila. The winner will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2022. Several beauties who have previously held national titles were spotted on the list including former Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Katrina Llegado, Miss Earth Philippines Celeste Cortesi, and Miss World Philippines Michelle Dee.
