Former Miss United Continents winner, Yamil Andrea Sáenz Castillo, has been officially appointed as Miss Supranational Mexico 2024. Hailing  Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, the 26-year-old  lawyer and model is a graduate of Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua. She also holds a master's degree in human resources and currently working in the legal department at UACH, where she carries out her social work and advocacy for women. No stranger to pageantry, Andrea has previously participated in Miss Mexico 2018 in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, while representing the state of Chihuahua. Shortly after the national pageant, she was named Miss Mexico United Continents and went to Miss United Continents 2018 in Ecuador where she won the title. Andrea will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Supranational 2024 this July in Poland. The Miss Philippines Earth 2024 Beach Wear Competition was held on Thursday, April 25 in Borongan City, the capital of the province of Eastern Samar. Sam Samara of Makati City bagged the gold medal while the representatives of Iligan City, Kristel Codas, and Matanao, Davao Del Sur, Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche were awarded silver and bronze, respectively. Reigning Miss Taiwan, Oceana Ling-Kurie, has been officially appointed as Miss International Taiwan 2024. She succeeds Anita Wang, last year's titleholder. The 23-year-old actress and model, who was crowned Miss Taiwan 2023 in Taipei last December, will now represent her country at Miss International 2024. Oceana is currently a graduate student at the National Taiwan Normal University's Graduate Institute of Performing Arts. According to Miss International, she is also an educator and a business consultant. In a post on social media, she expressed her excitement to participate on the international stage. The Star & Mr GS Hellas organization has officially announced its designation of Nikos Koliogiannis as the new Mister Supranational Greece 2024. Nikos was awarded the title of Mister Photomodel during last year's Mister GS Hellas competition. He now replaced the winner Giannis Dolianitis as Greece's official representative for Mister Supranational 2024. Ukraine's Angelina Usanova has revealed the phoenix-inspired national costume she will wear at this year's Miss Eco International competition. "The phoenix is ​​a mythical creature that symbolizes Ukraine and Ukrainians — a country that is under fire every day, but continues to live, rebuild destroyed cities, love, create, give birth to children," the 26-year-old model shared online. Miss Okemos, Alma Cooper was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2024 on Sunday, April 21 at McMorran Entertainment Center in Port Huron, Michigan.
