Michelle Dee hints at return to Miss Universe Philippines

Former Miss World Philippines and Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2022 Michelle Daniela Marquez Dee has hinted at her return to pageantry.

Her recent comment #deepatapos (not yet done) on social media created a buzz among the pageant fans who are wishing for her to represent the Philippines at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador.

Registrations for Miss Universe Philippines 2023 are still open until the 5th of February and it has yet to be confirmed if the actress and model will actually be joining this year's edition.

The 27-year-old daughter of former Miss International Melanie Marquez and actor Derek Dee won Miss World Philippines 2019 and placed in the Top 12 at the Miss World pageant held in London.

Last year, Michelle represented Makati City and came very close to winning Miss Universe Philippines but lost to her friend Celeste Cortesi who unfortunately failed to reach the Top 16 in Miss Universe 2022, breaking the placement streak held by the Philippines within 12 years.

Hopefully, this year's batch will be a battle among several veterans with former competitors also rumored to give the national pageant another try.
