Philippines' Celeste Cortesi flaunts 'trauma bangs' in latest photo after Miss Universe


Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi shared a new photo flaunting her "trauma bangs" in one of her latest posts since coming home from the 71st Miss Universe competition in New Orleans.

The 25-year-old model was possibly referring to her failed attempt to bring back her country's fifth Miss Universe crown when she was not called into the Top 16 semifinals.

Not only Celeste, unfortunately, missed out on getting a placement but she also broke the longest streak that the Philippines achieved at Miss Universe in the past 12 years.

In a lengthy post after arriving back in the Philippines, the proud Filipina shared how the entire year has been the most challenging yet most exciting time of her life. She also added that representing her country was her greatest honor.

"I am discovering purposes that go beyond my self-ambitions and I am immensely grateful to have had the chance to represent all Filipinos and all the sweet fans of pageantry around the world," she said.

Celeste also left a heartwarming message to her fans: "I feel your love, I hear your support, and I see your messages every day. I now believe that my purpose is to inspire, and I will never stop inspiring and motivating all of you, with or without the Universe crown. I am committed."

Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Philippines wins second Miss Supranational crown

The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Sigríður Ósk Hrafnkelsdóttir, also known as Sigga Ózk, was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2026 (Miss Iceland 2026) on Wednesday, April 22 at at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík.
