Philippines' Celeste Cortesi flaunts 'trauma bangs' in latest photo after Miss Universe


Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi shared a new photo flaunting her "trauma bangs" in one of her latest posts since coming home from the 71st Miss Universe competition in New Orleans.

The 25-year-old model was possibly referring to her failed attempt to bring back her country's fifth Miss Universe crown when she was not called into the Top 16 semifinals.

Not only Celeste, unfortunately, missed out on getting a placement but she also broke the longest streak that the Philippines achieved at Miss Universe in the past 12 years.

In a lengthy post after arriving back in the Philippines, the proud Filipina shared how the entire year has been the most challenging yet most exciting time of her life. She also added that representing her country was her greatest honor.

"I am discovering purposes that go beyond my self-ambitions and I am immensely grateful to have had the chance to represent all Filipinos and all the sweet fans of pageantry around the world," she said.

Celeste also left a heartwarming message to her fans: "I feel your love, I hear your support, and I see your messages every day. I now believe that my purpose is to inspire, and I will never stop inspiring and motivating all of you, with or without the Universe crown. I am committed."

Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Jaime VandenBerg was announced the winner of Miss Universe Canada 2025 on Saturday, August 9 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor, Ontario. The 28-year-old international model and actress from Lethbridge, Alberta will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. Vanessa Pulgarin from Colombia was proclaimed the winner MGI All Stars 2026 on Saturday, May 30 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. Meet the winners of Miss Turkey 2025

The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational.
