Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 kicks off in Jakarta


Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 has officially kicked off with the arrival of the finalists for their boot camp week in Jakarta.

The first day of their activities took place at the Sari Pacific Jakarta where they participated in a psychotest with Jakarta-based professional psychology service provider Personal Growth.

Thirty competitors from across the country will fight for the "Shimmering Hope" crown and the opportunity to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador.

The grand final competition will take place on Thursday, August 3 at the Beach City International Stadium (BCIS). Tickets can be purchased via tiket.com.

Don't forget to vote for your favorites to take home the coveted national title via Miss Universe Indonesia's official app which is available for download on App Store or Google Play.

Nadia Mejia-Webb crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025

Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. The 24-year-old beauty from Asunci贸n is an economist, international model and entrepreneur. She succeeds last year's titleholder Yanina G贸mez who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025. The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Saki Fujita and Reina Ishii were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chiemi Takayama and Naomi Monique Kamidate were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
