LIVE UPDATES: Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023 Final Competition Results


Following weeks of pre-pageant activities, the Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023 grand final and coronation is taking place tonight at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in San Juan.

At the end of the event, one of the 30 contestants will be crowned by outgoing queen Ashley Cariño and take home the opportunity to represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November.

Hosted by entertainer José Santana and Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020 Estefanía Soto Torres, tonight's glittering show presented by L'Oréal Paris is broadcasting live on Wapa TV.

Guest performers consist of Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and record producer Tommy Torres, two-time Latin Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter of Latin pop and tropical music genres Luis Figueroa, and Colombian singer, songwriter, and actor Carlos Vives.

An esteeemed panel of judges who will choose the winner includes former titleholder and Miss Universe 2018 Top 5 finalist Kiara Liz Ortega, journalist Aixa Vázquez, businessman Carlos Thompson, surgeon José Raúl Montes, president of SER Puerto Rico Nilda Morales, fashion designer Leonardo Cordero Suria, and model Karla Ortiz.

Miss Turkey 2024: Meet the Top 20 finalists

A total of 20 finalists have been selected to compete for Miss Turkey 2024 following an elimination round held on Wednesday, September 4 in Istanbul. The grand final will take place on September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel and the winners are expected to represent Turkey at the next Miss World and Miss Supranational pageants. No competition was held last year and this year's upcoming final will be the 42nd edition of the annual national pageant. In May, the Miss Turkey Organization headed by Can Sandıkcıoğlu officially announced that it parted ways with the Miss Universe Organization after more than 40 years. Its last representative was Aleyna Şirin who competed in Miss Universe 2022 which was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA in January 2023. Miss Turkey 2024: Idil Bilgen wins Miss Turkey World 2024

Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Cemre Üker clinched the Miss Turkey Supranational 2024 crown and will head to Poland to compete in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer. Miss Cosmo 2025 is Yolina Lindquist from the USA

Miss Cosmo USA Yolina Lindquist beat 70 other contestants to win the Miss Cosmo 2025 pageant on Saturday, December 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The 22-year-old from Illinois was crowned by her predecessor Ketut Permata Juliastrid from Indonesia. She became the first ever American woman to hold the international beauty title. Transgender woman Nguyen Huong Giang to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2025

Former Miss International Queen winner Nguyen Huong Giang has been officially announced on Wednesday, September 25 as Miss Universe Vietnam 2025. The 33-year-old model, singer and actress from Hanoi made history as the first ever transgender woman to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe. Huong Giang rose to prominence when she joined the fourth season of Vietnam Idol. She also competed and won The Amazing Race Vietnam 2014 with her ex-boyfriend Criss Lai. Aldana Masset was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2025 on Sunday, May 25 at Mansión Tango in Buenos Aires. The 25-year-old singer and image consultant from the province of Entre Rios beat 27 other contestants to win the national title. Julieta Ricardez of La Pampa was named first runner-up while Judit Grnja of Chaco, Ayelen Torres of La Rioja, Carolina Danieri of Comunidad Extranjera, and Xiomara Menna of Misiones were the second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up, respectively. Miss Venezuela World 2025 is Mística Nuñez of Falcón

Mística Nuñez, representing Falcón, was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2025 in a national competition held at the Studio 1 of Venevisión on Wednesday, November 12 in Caracas. The 24-year-old pharmacist and medical student succeeds last year's titleholder Valeria Cannavò and will represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2026 competition.
