Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 is Amara Bo


Amara Bo was crowned Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 in the national competition held on Thursday, September 14 at the Novotel Yangon Max Hotel.

The 26-year-old model representing Kengtung beat over 30 other competitors to win the title on her second try. She was in the Top 10 during last year's edition.

Dee of Mawlamyine was named first runner-up while Khaymar Budathoki of Bhamo, Nang Nandar Linn of Tachileik, No No May of Pathein, and Thin Sandar Pyae Thiha Aung of Pyin Oo Lwin were the second, third, fourth, and fifth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Universe Myanmar succeeds last year's winner Zar Li Moe and will now prepare to represent the "Land of the Golden Pagodas" at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November.

Alejandra Rodríguez was crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024 in a competition held on Sunday, April 21 at Corregidor Hotel in La Plata. The 60-year-old lawyer and journalist bested more than 30 other contestants to win the title. She will now prepare to represent Buenos Aires at Miss Universe Argentina 2024. To recall, the Miss Universe Organization removed the age limit requirement last year so now anyone from the age of 18 can join the pageant and this applies to all its national franchises. The grand final for this year's Miss Universe Argentina will be held on May 25 and the winner will go to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. New Miss USA and Miss Teen USA franchise partner announced

Fashion designer Laylah Rose has been announced as the new license holder and will serve as the president and CEO for the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants. The founder of Laylah Rose Couture and also the CEO of VIP Pageantry replaces Miss Brand and former Miss USA national director Crystle Stewart. Reno, Nevada will again host this year's Miss USA and Miss Teen USA with Emmy Award-winning executive producer Kerri Zane of Kerri Zane Enterprises and Bud Brutsman of Brentwood Communications International, Inc. handling the productions. The much-awaited Miss USA 2023 and Miss Teen USA 2023 competitions will take place at the Grand Sierra Resort the week of September 25, 2023. Further details have yet to be announced. Celinee Santos Frias was crowned Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2024 during the Miss Republica Dominicana 2024 final competition held on Sunday, May 5 at Centro de Convenciones Sambil in Santo Domingo. The 24-year-old model and actress, representing Distrito Nacional, will now represent the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico later this year. Melissa Nuñez of the Dominican Community in the USA was first runner-up. She received the title Miss International Dominican Republic 2024 and will go to Miss International 2024. The second runner-up, Haidy Cruz of Monte Cristi was named Reina Hispanoamericana Dominican Republic 2024 and will go to Reina Hispanoamericana 2024. Hawaii's Savannah Gankiewicz becomes the new Miss USA

The Miss USA organization has just announced Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii as the new Miss USA following the resignation of Noelia Voigt. According to the official announcement, Savannah will be crowned in her home state of Hawaii in a special coronation ceremony next Wednesday, May 15. The new Miss USA was crowned  Miss Hawaii USA in January last year and went on to participate in Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada last September. She finished as first runner-up. Savannah is of Filipino, Vietnamese, and Polish descent born and raised in Kihei on the island of Maui. She is a model, entrepreneur, and self-love advocate. "My decision to accept the Miss USA crown was not one that was made lightly. I stand with Noelia and admire her strength to step down and prioritize her mental health," she wrote in an official statement. Samantha Poole bested 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss New Zealand 2024 (Miss International New Zealand 2024) on Sunday, May 5 at Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna Beach. The 21-year-old model and digital design graduate of Auckland University of Technology will represent New Zealand at Miss International 2024 in Tokyo, Japan later this year. Noelia Voigt steps down as Miss USA 2023

Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt officially announced her shocking resignation as titleholder in a post on social media on Monday, May 6. "I realize this may come as a large shock to many. Never compromise your physical and mental well-being. Our health is our wealth," she wrote. "A million thank you's to all of you for your constant and unwavering support. Time to write the next chapter. I hope you’ll stick around to see what's next," she added. After the shocking resignation of Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt, Miss Teen USA 2023 UmaSofia Srivastava has also announced her decision to relinquish her title.
