The Miss Czech Republic organization officially opened the registration for the Miss Czech Republic 2023 edition earlier this month. Applicants must be 17 to 25 years old and hold Czech citizenship. Other nationalities can also apply but they must have already been granted permanent residence at the time of registration. Castings will kick off on September 9 in Prague. Registration forms as well as the casting schedules and locations are available at the Miss Czech Republic official website . Details on the challenges, eliminations, and training sessions abroad are yet to be announced. The final show will be held in Prague and will be broadcast via TV NOVA on a date that has also yet to be announced. Miss Ireland 2022, the 75th anniversary of the Miss Ireland pageant, will take place this Saturday, August 20 at the Royal Theatre Castlebar, Co. Mayo. A press conference was held on Thursday, August 18 to officially announce the preliminary and final schedules of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022. The event took place at Sofitel Saigon Plaza and was attended by the reigning Miss Grand International Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Sen Vang Entertainment General Director Hoang Nhat Nam, pageant organizers, and sponsors. Former queens, newly crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022 Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong, and runners-up Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc and Nguyen Phuong Nhi were also present. Schedules for this year's competition consisted of an online preliminary round on August 21 whose qualifiers will move on to face the judges in the next round on August 28. Former Miss Universe Curacao Kanisha Sluis has been officially announced by the Curacao Beauty Pageant Committee as Miss Grand Curacao 2022 on Wednesday, August 17. The 26-year-old speech therapy student will represent Curacao at Miss Grand International 2022 final this October 25 in Indonesia. Kanisha was crowned Miss Universe Curacao 2015 and went on to compete at the 64th Miss Universe pageant at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, where she made it to the Top 10.
