The fourth day of the 72nd Miss Universe pageant was filled with exciting activities for the contestants from tasting local food to experiencing the beauty El Salvador has to offer. A group of contestants went to Parque Cuscatlán to learn more about the vibrant culture and traditions through the Festival de Tradiciones (Traditions Festival) prepared by First Lady Gabriela de Bukele. Another group was taken on a helicopter ride to Playa Maculis before boarding a yacht to the Golfo de Fonseca (Gulf of Fonseca) where they basked in the sun and enjoyed the breathtaking landscapes. "I had an absolute blast exploring the pristine waters of El Salvador today. Giulia Zanoni from El Salvador was crowned Miss Teen Mundial 2023 on Saturday, September 20 at the World Trade Center in Willemstad, Curacao. The 18-year-old sophomore student succeeds last year's winner  Mariona Juncosa Ramirez from the Dominican Republic. She is the first representative from her country to win the international pageant for teenagers. Ambar Ursulita Tovar of Curacao was named first runner-up while Briyitte Ocasio of Puerto Rico, Unamanda Vilakazi of South Africa, and Sofia Berrio-Lemm of Panama were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
