Miss Grand Indonesia 2024 is Nova Liana from South Sumatra


Nova Liana was crowned Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia 2024 (Miss Grand Indonesia 2024) on Sunday, May 19 at Istora Senayan in Jakarta.

The 23-year-old beauty from Palembang, South Sumatra bested more than 40 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Indonesia at Miss Grand International 2024 in Myanmar this October.

Stevanie Tawana Sheldrick of Riau Islands placed second and was awarded the title of Miss Elite Indonesia 2024. She is expected to compete in Miss Elite 2024 in Egypt.

The rest of the runners-up were Olivia Stevanie of DKI Jakarta 7, Yulinar Fitriani of West Java, Olla Levina of DKI Jakarta 2, and Anindya Gupita Prabandari of DI Yogyakarta.

They received the titles Miss Aura Indonesia 2024, Miss Eco Indonesia 2025, Miss Planet Indonesia 2024, and World Top Model Indonesia 2024, respectively, and will go to the next Miss Aura International, Miss Eco International, Miss Planet International, and World Top Model competitions.

This year's edition of the annual Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia pageant was attended by reigning Miss Grand International Luciana Fuster from Peru with MGI COO from Thailand, Teresa Chaivisut.

Former Miss Grand International and the first MGI winner from Indonesia, Ariska Putri Pertiwi, was also present at the glittering event.

The new Miss Grand Indonesia succeeds last year's winner Ritassya Wellgreat who placed in the Top 10 and fifth runner-up at Miss Grand International 2023 which was held in Vietnam.

Miss Universe Norway 2024 is Lilly Sødal from Kristiansand

Lilly Sødal was crowned Miss Norway 2024 (Miss Universe Norway 2024) during the national competition held last Saturday, August 10 at Rebel in Oslo. The 21-year-old sustainability advocate from Kristiansand received her crown from her predecessor, last year's winner Julie Tollefsen. She will now prepare to represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Athenna Crosby of California bested over 40 other contestants to win the Miss World America 2024 pageant on Sunday, November 17 in Seattle, Washington. The 26-year-old American-Venezuelan model and actress succeeds last year's winner Victoria DiSorbo and will now prepare to represent the United States of America at the 72nd Miss World. Former Miss Slovensko finalist Simona Leskovská has been officially appointed as Miss Supranational Slovakia 2023. Miss Slovakia organization made the announcement on Monday, April 3 via social media. The 31-year-old beauty is a well-known influencer and sports editor from Bratislava.
